IFMX Interesting Rumor Dept. John Taschek in 1-19-98 PC Week on page 66 states " There's a rumor floating around on the street that IFMX will post a profit - maybe 5 cents a share - this quarter. Sounds reasonable. Although the companay had a horrendous 97 financially, it's still been able to sell its database, especially for use in Web-based transactions. A more interesting side to the rumor has it that IFMX Chairman Robert Finocchio overstated IFMX losses soon after he took over from Phil White. The practice is apparently common when a new CEO moves in - it make the new CEO look better, I guess."
