They have made some progress in ephemeral design... now make some that look like maybe they could fly... But, alas... Disney had intended Epcot Center to be an "actual" city of the future... an urban design test bed for integrating futuristic technologies... where people would actually live and work... rather than having it be a day use theme park that is still flogging the same "futuristic" ideas that were current when it was first built. The pundit class can't even predict the next election correctly... even when its obvious. Don't see any reason I'd want to trust them in "predicting" anything else ? As a general rule, I think people who are focused on trying to tell others what they must think, say, do... how they must behave... dictating a future for them based on conformity... are incapable of the kind of thinking and lack the kind of observation skills required to make astute estimates of future events. I have noted the media increasingly addressing historical instances in which the gold was confiscated, and the markets closed for periods of days to months... just to make sure you know "it's been done before"... ? I think the reason for having that awareness is probably different than the reason they find it useful to mention now. I had some moments of concern that might happen before the "pause" we're in now slowed the downhill roll... but thus far no one that matters is talking about it seriously... and those who do matter are saying "never gonna happen"... but, never say never... Maybe for round two I'll will be better prepared, after having been forced to practice my circuit-breaker beating trading strategies in the last go... which necessarily required carrying more risk just to have a strategy that you can implement ? The technical question, for now, is which way do things go out of the bolly pinch... Hence, the timing and my expectations re "oil price war theater"... just before the holiday on Friday.
