this post has a soundtrack. start it playing before enjoying our various views of the moon this week.

lotta people staying at home... getting restless... looking for somewhere to go.
there was a lotta focus on the "pink" full moon this month. lotta real estate up there.

first, we saw your beautifully lit close-up from nova scotia:

then ron took this from behind a tree in NC last night

and finally, C_O posted this one this morning from oakland

NNBM ZOOM Happy Hour Minutes - April 10, 2020

croco-

attendees:
clappy...
cautious_optimist...
abuelita...
and yers (elpolvo) troolie...

it wasn't like a reunion this time since we just met on zoom just last week.
it was more like a conference call among four people. clappy had a lot more
colour in his face this week. he DID have success in getting claims filed
online for stimulus checks/unemployment??/etc. he found someone to help
him and he gave her the "kindness" treatment -- she walked him through
the whole process he was assured that EVERYTHING he needed to do
was filed and all they have to do is wait... and wait... and wait...
and NOT worry...

his lady, "crepes" has an ear infection and a fever so she's freakin' out
about it but she's been to the doctor and is taking antibiotics for it so
she should be healing soon. clappy's just working on her to make her
stop thinking she might have the virus.

cautious filled us in on the happenings in oakland... they're closing 70%
of the roads/streets to automobile traffic so people can walk around
without getting too close to each other. ...lotta people on bikes and using
the bus system. he asked me about the political climate in NM and I
told him we were a totally blue state and aligned with most of the same
ideas as california. he said it sounded like northern cal, but didn't say
he waned to move here. i don't know why. we also talked about how
we were going to make the USA the global mixed-culture experiment
where we all learn how to get along with each other. we may have to
FIRE our "fake reality show" producer/director/STAR and come up with
a new plot/story line. his approach is not working, even though his nielsen
ratings are high and he's getting under-the-table bonus checks from
twitter.com. ;-)

abuelita showed some of her rock/painting/artwork like the one she did
of my CT Scan...

haida gwaii is closed to visitors for awhile with no cases of the virus
soooo... they have their fingers crossed that it doesn't get in via the
ferry. they've shut down most of the airline flights.

i just mostly listened and held up objects in front of my camera like
the tiny pink oxycodone pill i take at 4 PM and the stuffed pony rose
gave me at our seattle reunion. it's still doing fine even though i've
ridden it hard and put it up wet a couple of times. ;-) the tv-director
in me emerged and i started calling everyone by camera number
and telling them what to do with their camera shots and lighting. i told
camera three (C_O) to tilt his camera down and lose the excessive
head room in the shot and i told camera four (rose) to pan her shot to
the right -- she had a sketch of a nude on the wall -- so i thought it was
much more interesting to include it in the shot. <g> SI Ron would have
deleted her camera shot if it was posted online... he thinks nude artwork
is sexually offensive... i guess it IS to HIM ?? we thought her bedroom
looked like a very tasteful room in a museum.

again... no one was wearing pants! at least that's what they SAID... all of
the camera shots were above the waist so you had to visualize that part
(with an art-appreciation mindset of course.)

that's my report for those who didn't log in. some of it's true... some of it snot,
and i'm sure i forgot a few things but i'm stickin' to it for NOW. everyone looked
good and healthy today. it was FUN. no plans at this time to do another zoom
meeting... but who nose?

a BIG TANKS to clappy for setting it up and running it... he's almost got
it figured out (even though it took 20 minutes for us ALL to get connected
to the zoom session).

-secretary of mistakes (aka - camera one operator and zoom camera technical director)

ps- if you can record yourself playing a tune on one of your instruments we'd love
to see it. i enjoy the videos of sage 2 that you've been shooting and sharing. a violin
solo would be nice. do you know "flight of the bumblebee" ? :-)
