I have owned this for many years. Company is somewhat cyclical and can be impacted by the Ag business.

Ag Growth International Inc. (AGGZF) CEO Tim Close on Q4 2019 Results - Earnings Call Transcript

AGI Announces Fourth Quarter 2019 Results

2019 Q4 was a bit challenging as they took some one time write downs due to inventory re-balancing and delayed orders. Company last 15 years since I have owned them is pretty well managed and did an acquisition several years back that took 18 months to iron out. I never recall a monthly dividend payment missed.

My last Buys were around $22/share several years back and sold 50% of position in 2018 at/near $45/share.

I noticed stock really sold off ( not very liquid) last few weeks so started buying shares.

Their grain storage bins are very important to the farmers especially as farmers increase production. It's a pretty big investment. They provide many types of farmer storage bins as well as augers. Not too fancy but necessary. N. Canada use bins to store wheat and now I see they have expanded into India.

Read their 2019 Q4 report (pretty short) and you can see the explanations for their write downs and/or revenue miss. Also, information hard to get as they are a foreign company so company not followed much.

Finally, if you do a SI search for "AGGZF" I have posted from time to time over the years specifically during the period of their acquisition which saw they stock fall over 35%. I first was alerted to this because of their monthly dividend and looked at business model that allowed them to pay this.

FWIW, position small held in ROTH but have open order to put some in the taxable account. There is a Foreign Tax/management fee so not able to re-capture when in a tax deferred account. The net yield (after those fees) are still quite good. That's why I want some in the taxable account.

Good luck
