States are being showered with CQ pills by drug makers, all for FREE. But the patients taking them may be angry later with permanent eye, kidney or heart damage. There are some serious side-effects occasionally even in stable, arthritic patients. So, one should expect more problems with ICU cases, and they are finding them. BTW, In Shanghai, docs were not overly impressed with CQ for CV19 in the sickest patients. Although, drug may be better in the moderate but needs confirmation by studies. Vide reports that lupus patients on CQ are not getting much CV19. It's anecdotal but interesting.
