Probably because of that pesky inability to know the future. They're analysts, not clairvoyants.

It should be noted that NONE of the firms covering Iomega downgraded when the stock was over 30, nor when it was in the 20s.

It should also be noted that H&Q, arguably the most reputable of all the firms covering Iomega, is maintaining their buy recommendation, at least so far.
