these analysts targets unless you know the specific analyst always seems to be a function of the current share price. I would only trust a target if i could understand how the analyst get there.
Price targets are pretty meaningless for analysts, you are best to ignore them. The key thing is the recommendation, not the price target. The analysts don't buy and sell stocks, so in that sense the price target is not key for them. It's just a requirement of the job placed on them by their bosses.
You will seldom see an analyst change a rating on a stock because it has gone up and reached the price target.

BIDU. I'm looking again at it. Numbers say they have $60/sh in cash/marketable securities, with stock price at about $100. Of course, If there are allegations of fraud who knows if those reported numbers are anywhere near correct?

I notice now that a couple of supposed value investors have increased their positions as of 3/20. Now though, who knows if they're still in?

Tweedy Brown, reduced position
FPA Capital, increased position
Richard Penza, increased position

Earnings look erratic.

Not sure what I want to do.
