Preliminary antibody testing show 15% of the population has been infected with SARS-CoV-2 in Gangelt, Heinsberg, Germany on the border of the Netherlands. - wz.de

Gangelt's annual Catholic Karneval (Mardi Gras) February 15 made Gangelt the initial source of most of the plague in Germany and the Netherlands. People come from miles around to the town of 12,000 residents, which is ten miles from the larger council center of Heinsberg with a population of 252,000.

This is the first comprehensive antibody testing of the entire population of a plague affected city. The study is 85% completed and will continue weekly. For contrast, it's estimated that 25% of the world's population was infected during the 1918 H1N1 influenza pandemic.
.

Taking into account the total number of infected residents, the mortality rate has been 0.37% in Gangelt.

Like many pathogens the fatality rate appears highly dependent upon the initial dose, which in Gangelt appears to have been low, likely from a single super-spreader (a person without symptoms who exhales a large number of micro-droplets in their breath).

Hi Bob!
BREAKING: Texas Governor plans to sign an executive order next week to reopen the state's economy. I knew Texas would be the 1st one to do it, hopefully this starts a chain reaction and more states start to open up.

Hats of to governor Greg Abbott
