I'm only thinking out loud here, but the thought has come over me from time to time that the administration intentionally slow footed it in the beginning to get some exposure to the virus. This is the German ploy which is an attempt to eventually reach herd immunity levels, which is often the path to independence from viral outbreaks. Now it appears that treatments are being developed as well. . If this is indeed what happened, it looks as if the plan worked. We have flattened out in many areas already and we never overloaded our system irrespective of the panic inducing press reports that were designed to make people believe the worst. There were no ventilator shortages and they did not have to kick anyone out of ICU beds. As I have said many times, I believe 50% of all of this is hoax, but there should be no doubt that at the very least, we are dealing with some sort of reasonably severe flu outbreak. I'M NOT A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL ALTHOUGH i DO HAVE MORE THAN ONE OF THEM IN MY FAMILY. So I have a basic understanding of some of this just through my discussions with family members as well as my own research, which I can safely say is pretty decent. I was well schooled to do research having been a political science, history and law school student.in my University days. As a result, I have had a lot of suspicions about the whole official line from the start. How many times do people have to be sold a bill of goods before they realize that they are not told the truth? Just during my own lifetime, I have seen my government lie about many things, including but not limited to, the origins of the Vietnam War, The Iraq War and the reasons for climate change. Those were big projects. There is absolutely no reason to give any career government official or politician in power the benefit of the doubt and think they have all turned into benevolent Christ-like leaders all of a sudden when a so-called "pandemic" hits. . In order to keep our leaders even semi-honest, they must be viewed with extreme skepticism. I think this is what the founding fathers had in mind when they designed the Constitution.
