As a matter of interest, have you, or anyone else here, considered Russian Bonds ? Here's what they were going for very recently .... The Yield on a 12 month bond is around 5.7%. In the USA you'd get only about 0.2%. And Russia's National Debt level is low compared to many other countries, about 12% of GDP ..... In the USA one is looking at about 104% of GDP ..... In addition Russia has been steadily building up its National stockpile of Gold Reserves ...... Currently that's about 2020 Tons. At about $55mil./ton that gives Russia a Gold Reserve value of about $111 billion. Seems to me that Russia is a fairly financially stable country with little national debt and good reserves.

Italy: DVDCY / DVDCF / CPR.MI FINMY / FINMF / LDO.MI Bought a small bit last November/December. ENAV.MI / BNY Mellon lists DR, but not sure if it trades/is active. I own the Italian listed shares, recently added shares. Spain: IDEXY / IDEXF / ITX.MC Recently bought small amount. EBRPY / EBRO.MC I own the Spanish listed shares. UK: Started positions in these four recently: LNSTY / LDNXF / LSE.L JMPLY / JMPLF / JMAT.L RYCEY / RYCEF / RR.L FNLPF / FRES.L Added to these two recently: BAESF / BAESY / BA.L OCDGF / OCDDY / OCDO.L I own four more of the UK ADR's: BTVCY / CBGPY / FERGY / SLFPY Possible bargain...??? Swiss listed, a solid company, that appears to be on sale: GBERY / GEBN.SW I added 200 more shares recently, have held shares since 10/2014. dmv
