The shutdown was 100X worse than the China Virus. Most people are immune as shown by what happened on cruise ships. --------------------------- MILLIONS OF PEOPLE HAVE HAD CHINA VIRUS, AND DIDN'T KNOW IT. It certainly looks that way, but when mass testing occurs (and cheap fast tests are coming very soon), we will know for certain.

And millions more would have had it without social distancing, leading to significantly more deaths. The volume in a short period of time would have overwhelmed the system - think dead bodies piling up in emergency rooms. Not something folks in the US would stand for. it’s a pretty big leap to argue that social distancing has been worse than letting the virus run amok. Pretty hard to prove the counter factual.
