Dulane, The whole market was jumping up & down today. Tommorow the same. Picked up that economists that have visited some Asian countries are now painting bad economic pictures. This combined with Bubba's problems makng people nervous. Fact is this bad Asian picture is perhaps good for us. Sad for the people there in general, good for the people that have contracts with CPQ. So we may be helping them some. Mr. Nuet stated that Republicans are behind Bubba on international policy reguardless of problems and that coutries should understand this. That should helps calm some nerves tommorow. Think we may have stolen Digital when you look at the numbers again and what they bring to the table. There will be no massive layoffs IMHO. Those people represent service, & sales. Now they have a larger product base to service and sell. I would be delighted if I worked at Digital and work like Heck to make this thing go. Isn't that what it takes to grow. Heck AT&T laid off 18,000 to reduce expense and grow? Hmmm, sounds exciting to me???? Not!!! What is the big excitement? When you are laying off that many people you are not growing you are trying to survive. I think this is a growth move with not so many lay offs. Hang in there! We are going to make some money. If not, I'm buying a lot of cheap stock for the future. Sorry sorta got carried away. NW
