Another one that I like... I remember this song from college from my spanish teacher who played it more often than telling us words... I've come to love this song...

Still have no idea what it means...

Perhaps you can help. If not, I will use what I think it all means... It must have something to do with being nice.

re: playing for change

me 2.

i told tom smith to hook up with them if he wanted to increase his tips on the street.
they're in the same biz.

he said he likes them.
this was what he didn't say... "they're outta my league"
but i could hear it in his brevity.

i'm going to listen to that title song on his new album again - planting in a drought:

sailbluefrog.com

Another day breaks. Another hope wakes
Another sun bakes my back from dawn till dusk
Why do I keep on planting the same song
They say it’s all wrong, for my seed will turn to dust
But for me, everything I know
Is right here in these long straight rows
That’s why I’m planting in a drought
Planting in a drought

Right now it all seems like a bad dream
These fields were once green with promise for my son
But he can not do what I was born to
Only a damned fool would follow me into the sun
But sometimes I see it in his eyes
He wants to give it one more try
That’s why I’m planting in a drought
Planting in a drought

When they’re explaining why it’s not raining
The experts say things that I don’t understand
I know that hard work can make my heart hurt
Then I feel this soft earth and these tools in my hands
For me, everything I know
Is right here in these long straight rows
I’m planting in a drought
Planting in a drought

Another day breaks
Another hope wakes
