Sure, like Bayer AG donated 5 million pcs Resorchin pills to the US like 6 weeks ago. That's the very HCQ pill my wife was taking for almost 20 years until end of 2019. Then no more of them available because after having had them in production and on the market since the invention in 1934 Bayer suddenly decided back in Sept 2019 to pull them from the market! Why, how could that be? ... Well, back then the official reason from Bayer: 'Quality problems in the (Pakistan) production'! ... That said, the 5 million pcs donated to the US this year, one might conclude, that those were lower quality product not suitable for the German market - or what?

Resorchin back then at the generic prices of aro $.35 a piece may not have been a bottom line provider of profit for Bayer, though. At least not back then, but why peddle the stuff cheap when new mass markets suddenly seem to open up? That would be real dumb.
