CYMI earnings report should be OK because: They have learned their lesson. If the report were bad, they should have warned a few weeks ago. Otherwise, they would lose all the remaining credibility with the Street. As far as forecast is concerned, I doubt they will say much because their customers are only those few (Nikkon, Cannon), whatever CYMI says about its future earnings will be used as an indicator for its clients' state of business. CYMI pulled out of that famous meeting to protect its client. So, the much awaited earning may be a non-event.

NYC - I was only repeating what was posted on that web page about A/D signals. That was not my interpretation. I also said that the market may have already factored in any "bad news".

Last week I attended an investor/computer user's group, and the speaker was a very highly respected technician with his own proprietary indicators for picking market "winners". (See Tiger Software - tigsoft.com ) He considers his "Accumulation Index" as the most important indicator for finding the top long-term investments. The higher the score, the better the chances. I don't know how this index compares to the A/D index posted on the above-referenced site, but it's something I would certainly want to look into further before commiting more money to CYMI.

Regarding the date of the earnings release -- again, I was going by what was posted on that website -- which I now see is wrong.
