Maybe this will make you feel better if you need to change your mind (hopefully you will never need to)

Hydroxychloroquine was approved for medical use in the United States in 1955. [2] It is on the World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines, the safest and most effective medicines needed in a health system. [7] In 2017, it was the 128th most commonly prescribed medication in the United States, with more than five million prescriptions. [8] [9]

She has been treating covid patients for just three weeks, so she has a small sample. Until this week, her hospital has been giving HCQ and zithromax to just the sickest patients, with mixed results. Because all of the ICU patients have comorbidities, the doctors are providing treatments for the other diseases. She has seen a lot of diabetes, HIV and sickle cell anemia.

They have begun HCQ on patients earlier in the infection cycle this week. I'll share the results when I hear.
