English Puzzles
or
Math Puzzles

My math sucks but I enjoyed the eclairs! Thanks for the great puzzle Jeff.

I thought to myself look, a red ?, I will solve that, ok, he has shoes on and stuff in his hands, did the same math as El K and bada bing bada boom, bada math = for tea ate. So I forgot to multiply first and I failed the math test but...the puzzle is not truly done yet, like Oak Island it keeps on puzzling. I found a whole bunch of solutions. They are all illegitimate.
Since it is a math puzzle you cannot make the right and left shoes equal, they are not, try putting a left shoe on your right foot to see the problem. You did say it was a hard "math" puzzle Jeff so even though the English word pair might imply in the mind that the shoes are the same value, mathematically they cannot be. Even in the graphic they do not match, so line 1 is really a,b + a,b + a,b = 30 and that is 3a + 3b = 30, not 30/6=5, all the math breaks down into squiggles at that point, billions upon millions, xyz and so on.
Also, I noticed the two people shown in the puzzle should probably be farther apart given the current crisis so I mentally added 6 more feet there.

I think the t-shirt says "PLUCK YOUR CHICKENS"

the puzzle question was ,"What is the total of the last column?"
it did NOT say, "What is the total of the last column after solving
the math problem of the last row and CHANGING the ? to a number?"

if it did, i might agree that the mathematical solution could be 106.
but you did say to Post your answer, not your math!

my answer is: 63 plus ?

explanation: 30 + 20 + 13 + ? = 63 plus ?

thanks for asking. fun to see all the different responses. especially
the extremely well thought-out ones by Graystone. :-)

my answer to Where's Waldo? is... he's in the box with the x on it.

just a guess...
