I certainly shivered when I listened t'Nightline tonite. Sleepy, irritable Dallas commuters R in for a rough day when s/he/they see(s) their Dallas AM Tribune over his/her coffee/orange juice tomorrow... This corrobrative eye witness account by a Secret Service Agent is THE FRONT PAGE story! It is absolutely a go for the jugular! On just about the most embarrassing day of our Nation's Annual Calendar...State of the Union Address to the Nation and the World. And Clinton's people called Koeppel while he was on the air to blast it even before it has its intended effect in Dallas. Reminds me of another Dallas Presidential Assassination... I don't know about you, Becker, but sleep isn't coming easy t'night as I watch gold rally $3.30 on live Futures from NY close, as rest of the world is doing business with jaundiced eye cast our direction while most of North America sleeps and wrestles with those damn sugar plum induced dreams left over from Christmas gorging! WHEW! The Right Reverend Jesse Jackson goes and watches a little football at the White House... (Yes, there is a precedent: he's trying to do a Billy Graham for Clinton...) like Billy Graham did for Nixon, another sterling character in our nation's colorful past... Acc'd to Jesse, he and Clinton, Hillary --and I presume Albright--who was also there watching football-- called upon the Almighty before Rev Jesse leaves to go home--(acc'd to Jesse on Larry King live interview tonight.) Wonder if the Secret Service Agent who has turned Federal Witness in the last 24 hours is male or female? Wonder if Clinton has done an Asian intern, or a Korean, or a Mexican, or a Spanish American, or a So. African, or a..... These repressed sexual things have a way of mushrooming in this nation... of when one abused party, be it a school student compromised by a coach, or a woman w/a sexually harrassing male, or a man w/an equally disgusting female superior/harrasser on his job... ...these things have a way of exploding into more and more and more and more "abused" coming forward in a tidal wave in embarrassing droves. Stay tuned to "As the Worm Squirms ........Stomachs Churn ........and Clinton "burns." God Help Us All... 'cause... like any immoral act, it is not just consequential & private to the perpetrator, but to the perp's family, friends, neighbors, church/synagogue/mosque/temple, down to the 3rd and 4th Generation. Remember, the Judaic "Old Covenant Days..." ...the whole family was slain!!!! Yes, Gore is "ready" but ready for what? Saddam? North Korea invading So. Korea? IMF package to capital hill? smoke and mirrors accounting? finding Rubin's replacement? The mind boggles, goldbugs, the mind truly boggles. I'm ashamed to call Clinton my President... and NO, I don't believe him! If I'm gonna bow my knee in prayer and supplication, and TRUST ME, I will be!!! and have, it will be for the man's daughter, the branded young woman, importuning Mercy and Grace them as well as on Gore who will have to pick up the pieces, FACE the Nation & the World, and do the dirty "Pardoning Deed." At least in the 20 some odd years we've had Gore around, I don't know that he's ever brought any measure of the kind of shame or disgrace to congressional office, or his family or nation. I pray that it is true now as well. Thanks for letting me get this off my chest, Becker. A plea for indulgence from friend and foe alike, as well... O/49r
