Wouldn't be surprised to see stock buyback announced shortly although with a little over 100M in net cash and 133M shares out, can't afford too much - maybe 2M authorized. Also, a shareholder lawsuit is probably coming - I seem to remember some insider selling over last 2 months.

Revs for Q1 are expected between 282M and 295M or a decline of between 16% and 12% - normal is around 8% - all of this according to the company. Q1 1997 earnings had a charge. With charge was .08 - without charge, assuming 35% tax rate, was .19

Development and product engineering up 6.6M
Selling and administration up 15.3M

This should be absorbed by sales growth and with increase in shares and additional taxes seems reasonable that company will equal Q1 1997 earnings before charges of $.19 to $.20

Thx Harry for that pointer. Is this gap in their product line real?.
If so, what are the Competitors Broad band connectivity products.
