Back in 2008, California liberal Democrat Maxine Waters was lecturing oil company executives at a congressional hearing when she plainly stated her true intentions: “Guess what this liberal would be all about? This liberal would be about socializing , uh, umm. Would be about, basically, taking over, and the government running all of your companies.

Kentucky’s GOP-controlled legislature successfully overrode Gov. Andy Beshear’s (D) veto of a voter ID bill on Tuesday night, a move that adds an extra hurdle for people to vote in November.

The bill requires people to show government-issued photo identification in order to cast a ballot, starting in November. A key race ? the reelection of U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R) ? will be on the ballot.

Wharfie,
He's the president. He's in charge of entry ports, and he's in charge of the federal public health bureaucracy.
You're just repeating the same lies over and over again no matter how many times they've been debunked.

Trump was widely criticized for closing certain ports of entry because it was "racist." Now you're claiming he should have done just that? What bullshit.

As for the federal public health bureaucracy, I'm so glad California wasn't dependent on it. I'm also glad decisions here didn't need approval from higher levels of government, unlike in New York City where the decision to shut down the city had to be approved by bureaucrats three hours away.
