Honestly, For many years I listened to anti-US lefties also rail about globalism including the WHO and NATO, and even the UN. And the left promoted the meme of the secret "Deep State" tapping our phones, especially the FBI and CIA. Sometimes for very good reasons (MLK and J Edgar Hoover, Chile, smearing "communists" etc.) Such paranoia helped to deliver a RIGHTWING populist who loves Putin and Kim Jong Un. Who knew?? (Perhaps Putin knew and played both sides against the middle? justsayin') But it is important to have historic perspective on such matters. Not everything is explained by RW vs. LW.
