Do you also think an educated population can do very bad things? Our founding fathers put slavery into the Constitution. It was the only way they could get the Constitution ratified. Then, it cost us over 600k lives to undo that mistake. This is different. Today, Americans choose to be idiots. Anyone who listens to fox news after they spent months lying about the virus has some serious mental issues. Propaganda forces republicans to do bad thing but they choose to be bad. Does it make sense to borrow trillions from the Treasury and give it to the ultra-rich knowing full well it'll never be paid back? I can see one of them making one mistake, but not decades.
