Did they write this thing to fill in the gap left after the departure of the Priesthood with the rest of the people when they decided to stay in their captivity? If so then when God destroyed the Temple and the Priesthood and Israel no longer could practice the Law under the Old Covenant did this Babylonian Talmud spread to fill in the void left by the absence of the Temple and the Priests? Emile, I've read through a selection of your posts. You seem to be obsessed with condemming Jews and Judaism. Your justification for your grudge is negative comments about Jesus and Christians some Czarist-era Russian claimed are in the Babylonian Talmud (which I believe is mostly written in Aramaic as opposed to your Russian source's claimed expert Hebrew). Can't help but notice your own attitudes toward "modern antichhrist Judaism", the "Synagogue of Satan", etc. are somwehat similar in nature to the views you ascribe to the Babylonian Talmud, only in reverse. Seems to me your version of Christianity is pretty much of a mirror image of what you claim Judaism, falsely I believe, is all about. I was raised in a Baptist church & will tell you I'm not very religious today. But I will say I think you are bearing a very negative witness for Jesus. Demonization of another's faith is a poor base upon which to build one's own.
