Are we trembling in our boots? Not likely. The whiners and snowflakes have long since been identified as belonging to the liberal Socialist party that likes to call themselves Democrats. None of us tremble. You think I fear bans? I really don't. Go ask Honey Bee, when she banned me from her thread or bentway or epicure when they banned me from theirs. I have been banned form leftwing and rightwing threads, because I'm a centrist and don't agree with cults of personality nor do I agree that either party is perfect. I say what I want when I want and don't care who bans me. I'm an old style American who believes in unfettered free speech, even uncomfortable and nasty free speech. Because I believe in that more than I believe in the ability of well-meaning people to make good judgement calls on what should be free speech. I actually agree with SI Ron on one statement he made. He said, he finds it hard to believe that people can't debate without personal attacks and insults. Well, he's right. I am usually better about that sort of thing, but this thread is called "The Swamp" for a reason. It makes us all swamp creatures. So if I refrain from insults, it will not be because I'm afraid of being banned, but because I agree with the principle and because I have the intelligence and verbal ability to make my point without the insults. The people who tremble are many of the liberal swamp creatures on these threads who simply have such small vocabularies and intellectual capacity that they can't make a cogent argument without the non-sense and vitriol.
