As I keep saying, one cannot look at the ones upon whom education failed to make wise, one has to look at those who it did make wise. Something like 50% of docs are Republicans. Many docs are in it simply for the money and status and are not particularly sensitive e.g. many surgeons are sociopaths or psychopaths. Easier to do surgeries if one doesn't care. Education doesn't always work with sociopaths, psychopaths, crazy people and people who have been "imprinted" upon with right wing ideology. One has to look at the BIG picture. How has it affected the human species as a whole. <<Education didn't make them liberals. Or make them agree with me even though I've convinced myself I'm correct. :-)
