I also think the entry into Europe will be careful and calculated. It is my understanding that WinStar has been receiving lots of inquiries/requests for assistance from over there. The opportunity is large and the time to start getting established is now. First they need to get some spectrum (ARTT has some...hmmm). Also getting roof rights, etc. would depend on having local allies or partners, I would think. Remember, Nate Kantor built MCI's international business, so it's not as if they don't have some experience to tap in this area.

Did anybody hear what ATT said about their strategy for rolling out local service beyong their Teleport acquisition?. No mention in the WSJ about their local plans.

Looks like indecision so far. Even the options volumes are almost nil.
