Never said Bernie could win the South. But he could have energized the party and brought out the Left wing of the Party. Now the party needs to win key battleground states like FL, MI, PA, WI, MN, NC and IA without a big part of its base. Good luck. I think the Dems lose again and again till they stop fixing the primaries and become pro labor. Trump is the punishment. Have you ever met a teenager who was adopted and was an atheist or agnostic and pro life? I have met many since I owned a learning center in NYC. They will tell you how grateful they were that their mother did not have an abortion and placed them under adoption. There are plenty of parents who can't have children and who would only be willing to pay the cost of the pregnancy if they could legally adopt the child. Not such a terrible thing to undergo for the responsibility of becoming pregnant.
