Yes, agreed. We also need treatments to cure it once you get it (therapeutics) and antibody tests in mass. If we had antibody tests for everyone that wants one, then we could immediately send people back to work who are immune. In addition, if we tested everyone for COVID, then we would know who to isolate. Bottom line is that we just need a massive number of tests for COVID and for anti-bodies. It's the only real way of opening up responsibly with a good assurance that it won't come back. I want an open economy asap, but at this point, whatever money they are spending in these relief packages needs to be focused on getting tests ramped up. Everything else is just making people feel better without solving for the root causes.
