Evolution is our manifest destiny and messy and brutal-:)>.

The big picture, IMO, is the fact we have gone from a nomadic animal, that lived in caves, to an animal that can built rocket ships that can reach the moon and figured out the very foundation of the universe as described in general relativity in just 15,000 years or so.

I believe that what we are experiencing, is the nature of our universe, is pervasive, and goes on all over the universe i.e. biological entities are created as a manifestation of the quantum wave action, (particle wave duality) and then go on to evolve.

And some make it to our point, able to create technology that can expand our senses, at which time they would face the singularity which would be a very dangerous time for any species. Some make it through and probably most don't and destroy themselves.

A major problem is that any species would have to go from everything killing everything to a world of cooperation and kindness..

But those that do make it though could become super intelligent sentient beings capable of things we cannot even imagine e.g. they might be able to live in other universes or even dimensions.

<,

What about the part where we are driving millions of species to extinction?
