This country is no longer "moving" towards Socialism, but rather, we are "hurtling and accelerating" towards Communism. It's absolutely stunning to watch the speed of the transformation. John, you are a real estate man. I own a lot of real estate as well, but not for rent, just for my own enjoyment. The first thing they come after is your ability to set the prices on the rent you charge and who you can rent to. So be careful out there. Communists understand the control of real estate is crucial to implementing control of people. Notice, they have embarked on a cultural war and have largely won it, stamping out Christian values in favor of all the immorality we see today. They are waging a concerted war against freedom of speech through the social media platforms, and are largely winning that one, because the tech titans are socialist liberals and they are largely driving the censorship, with barely a fight raised by the conservatives. They also have to wage a war against jobs and replace jobs with dependence on the state. So they push Universal Basic Income. Lastly, they do everything in their power to destroy capitalism , by replacing price discovery and free market allocation of capital with state controlled pricing of assets, distribution of goods and services, and centralized control of the economy. They have won this battle largely through the actions of the Fed, whose QE money printing has all but destroyed price discovery in the capital markets and has resulted in them picking the winners and losers in the debt markets, which has the effect of propping up companies of their choosing, which otherwise would go bankrupt.
