Jay, Not a goofy question at all. Paradyne's product appears to be a very good one to provide medium-speed internet service, and more, over longer loop distances than will be possible with ADSL or HDSL. The question you have to answer in your mind is: Which is going to be the ultimate telephone-loop-based technology.......MVL (as it is called), or ADSL? Regards, Knip
