Extra helicopter money in the last week or three = 10% of the $20 trillion on issue. Give or take a few trillion. A couple of $trillion is being dished out to the lucky winners of opm. As usual, the sensible, frugal, productive, conservative, gullible, with VVV, pay for the dissolute wastrel bludgers of the world.

10% of gold price isn't a huge dilution. So there's no hyperinflation pressure. On the contrary, with oil at $10 or $20 a barrel compared with $100 per barrel a decade or so ago there's downward pressure on gold price.
