Thanks very much for the link to the figured on Terra Nitrogen.

Here's the Edgard URL for the latest 10K.

edgar-online.com

Terra Nitrogen is such an unusual entity that I am having a lot of trouble understanding it.

For example, I can't tell whether if at any time the publicly traded units can be redeemed at a price of $21.50. Also, I wonder what the tax status of the distributions is.

Help! Does anyone know and understand this?

I understand oil and gas royalty trusts pretty well, but this is a new kind of animal for me.

I guess what worries me the most is the possibility of a forced conversion or buyout. Otherwise, to own part of a company that converts natural gas into urea fertilizer seems an awfully safe and potentially very lucrative stream of income.
