He is listening to Chris Murray out of UW. I don't know what is wrong with that guy. He did recently revise up from 60 to 66K, but if it were to be that low, it would be an astonishing departure from the countries that have gone before us, other than China, and we have nowhere near the controls that China had in place.

We've been running 2k to 3k deaths per day for the past couple of weeks. So for the moment, we may have reached the local maxima. Based on Italy's experience, we could be here for a while. With the spread to more rural regions, that could be a long while...

Obviously, the upper limit of 60k is nonsense. We quite likely will be over 100k. And that is assuming there isn't a second wave in the fall. If that second wave includes a mutation that makes it more dangerous, say a longer incubation period of infectious pre-symptomatic behavior, well...

We could have a situation where Trump is holding massive rallies and parades celebrating the defeat of the virus, while in the crowd lurks a large percentage of pre-symptomatic people.
