Nobody with the LOW IQ of FatRump should EVER "think" out loud.

It's better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.

TopCat,
Ever heard the expression, "thinking out loud?"
Yes, that's been the standard excuse for everything stupid that Trump said over the past four years.

If it were only that, I wouldn't mind as much, but the guy then immediately congratulated himself for coming up with that idea.

Moreover, if he allowed his staff and advisors to be just as frank with him as he is with everyone else, they would say things that would rub his ego the wrong way.

"Sir, that's a stupid idea, and here's why." I can't imagine anyone working directly under Trump feeling free to say that. Instead, they have to nod and hold back the cringe factor.

This fault isn't exclusive to Trump, of course. There are way too many dumbasses out there who are overpromoted.

Nevertheless, this is something that is inexcusable or at least something that I myself could never tolerate in a leader, all else being equal. It's the exact opposite of inspiring, and the only motivation to take it is the notion that the other side is "worse." (Which I'll get to in a future post.)
