>>>It was simply an obvious suggestion to doctors if something works to kill it can something be injected or inhaled?

Exactly. But you can't convince a Never-Trumper that. It's like talking to a wall and Ten has become the brick variety.

Eric,
But the media is reporting he did and hoping someone does and die from it like they did with the fish tank cleaner. The lie is the reporting or lampooning as you say as fact or even a recommendation from Trump.
Remember when Al Gore claimed to have created the Internet?

The media and the entertainment industry had a field day with that. "Al Gore claimed to have invented the Internet, LOLOLOLOL!"

In comes Snopes, who says that Al Gore never claimed to have invented the Internet because "invent" and "create" are two very different things.

Many liberals on this thread bought the Snopes argument hook, line, and sinker. I still remember combjelly trying to argue exactly that, that anyone who says that Al Gore invented the Internet is a liar.

But to me, Al Gore rightly deserved to get raked over the coals. Invent, create, it doesn't matter because Gore blatantly and laughably took credit for something that became a technological revolution without his all-knowing wisdom.

That's what the defense of Trump's disinfectant quote reminds me of. It's the same kind of spin that Snopes used to excuse Al Gore for claiming credit for the Internet.

As I said about Cavuto this morning, the Trump-haters are all having fits of ecstasy this morning over an exaggerated SPECULATION from the President of the United States.
