Watch the 8-K's!!

Per Motley Fool:

<<Book publisher Houghton Mifflin (NYSE: HTN) reported a loss of $0.59 per share in its fourth quarter, beating estimates by a penny. Revenues increased to $127.2 million, up 5.9% from Q4 in 1996. The stock is getting hammered though, down $8 7/8 to $28 5/8 because of guidance for 1998. Apparently the company sees lower revenue in the K-12 market. The company also said it would be spending on internal operations to address the Year 2000 computer problem.>>

Bit by bit, information on the costs of y2k efforts are leaking into the media. First Sybase and Oracle report collpasing margins and earnings disappoints because of increased y2k spending, now a book publisher sees increased spending. I predict there will be a flood of this stuff. WATCH THE SEC 8-Ks IN 1998 !!
