Ram, start with the overall market. Offense or Defense. This does not
mean that you can't buy stocks while in defense but, you must exercise much more caution.
Go to the sector next. Look for low sectors with bullish percents
below 50% or preferably in the 30'% range. Look for value stocks in that sector. Fundamentals first. Then look for stocks that are above their 9 month moving average, (idea) anything you deem fit will do as you are the pilot.Next make sure the chart suggests demand is in control, uptrend, on a buy signal etc.
Then determine what you will do if things go right and what you will do if things go wrong. Last, stick to the program.
