Henry,
I think it may be possible that eventually a high score with managed care might be inversely related to shareholder satisfaction. My take on managed care is that it most closely represents some sort of sucking parasite. Possibly some members of the "health care team" brought this "managed care "upon themselves, but I fail to see how they bring anything to the equation of making patients well! They just stick their hand in the till and take money away from the producers and providers whom are providing a service to the patient. I am afraid that soon even the BIG BOYS may be in a position similar to many phycisians and pharmacist who are now being told what to charge for their contribution to care, and this may not bode well for bottom lines. I realize where the BIG BOYS are now, I'm just considering possible future ramifications. It might become more than just a kick back war as we now see for "me too" products.
