The film features a parade of – solely – white Americans, mostly male, insisting the planet has to reduce its population. There is no information provided on which people in the world need to stop fucking, but we can take a guess, based on the demographics of the people doing the asking. This is an ongoing elephant in the room beyond the debate about numbers. Additionally, "the masses," many gay couples too, want to conceive rather than adopt -- who is going to ask them to limit the conceptions? Note the relationships of infant mortality, later criminality or suffering to poverty. Will people voluntarily raise the uggggg "surplus" born children (some heroes do that now.) On the other side, many adopted children grow up with a deep longing to be reunited with their "biological" parents. This is deep human emotional stuff, and complicated. I.just.dont.have.the.answer.

The reviewer seems to be a young man who does not appreciate that he stands on the shoulders of those involved in alternative energy for many decades. My first solar project management job was a passive solar water heating project in 1978. The "ancient" solar and wind issues he enumerates are not the result of climate denial, but real world issues that have been addressed by technological and economic hard work, one project at a time. The present-day status of alternative energy did not happen by magic or government fiat. It has been a long slog with major contributions by many people who will remain unknown.
