There is no information provided on which people in the world need to stop fucking, but we can take a guess, based on the demographics of the people doing the asking. they don't say what's WRONG about population control. it seems to be the perfect solution to me with the least harmful impact on humanity... it's easy and painless to decide not to have children and it doesn't hurt anyone. i'm in NO way a racist but there must be something about me that is different for not thinking that population control is somehow a no no. these two reasons are bullshit - slight of hand - misdirection to me: 1) because population reduction is a racist ideology. 2) because a right wing conservative supports it. even the use of the "F" word is a "tell" that logic be damned... when the words "procreation" or "having children" could just as easily have been used without the drama . the author of the article has decided to "take a guess" instead of using due diligence and study the reason that population control might be the perfect solution. if i was going to show an example of prejudice being used instead of logic and facts - that would be a good one. soooo... other than that prejudice against population control, the article is pretty good at critiquing the film. it's about the same conclusion as you, ron, C_O and i all came to after viewing it. i have no idea why it would be shown on earth day nor why michael moore is supporting it. i know you shared a couple of links with me before when i asked about population control, but they were NOT logical OR balanced so i'm still looking for a valid reason for the hidden agenda of renouncing population control in the green movement. when i speak of population i'm talking about the WHOLE of humanity - not any particular race, gender, nationality or ideological segment of the population. i think i need to call in some more "fair and balanced" minds to explain to me why birth control should NOT be on our agenda to combat AGW. so this question is open to anyone who can help answer the following question with "fair and balanced" facts and logic...Q) Why should population control/reduction NOT be put squarely on the agenda to combat AGW? if the answer points to anything that is over 500 words in length, please provide a short summary of the case against population control for "old man polvo". i promise to look at any evidence with a completely, unbiased open mind - (at least to the extent that i am capable of that). tanks. -elpolvo
