You are not the typical hillbilly / pillbilly Trump supporter. Just as much a mistake is easy to make on both sides... Trump supporters being "hillbillies"... is evidence of your bias, and absolutely nothing else. Reality is voters... ARE the average... almost by definition. Beyond that, which team you root for is mostly not about anything other than socialization... most voters simply their lives by choosing a team... and pick what's easiest socially... not by thinking things through themselves... which is what they expect their representatives to do for them... so they don't have to. Democrats don't win elections because they tend to, or try to, appeal to thinkers ? Quite the opposite. Libertarians... don't win elections... because they do appeal ONLY to thinkers... ?
