Ken - Do the Tigers still play at Tiger Stadium or have you all followed Chicago's lead? I lived in Detroit for a couple years (a great city in many ways) and became a Tigers fan. As a Redskins fan, I LOVE the Lions.

Ken:
In 1948 I took the Crosstown streetcar to Briggs Stadium to watch the Detroit Lions. I never had a ticket but always managed to find my way into the stadium.
The Lions were my team until Wayne, it's my brothers cocaine, came along. I also had difficulty with his predecessor, what's his name. He was a lot like Wayne and would say whatever the moment required. Truth had nothing to do with it.
How can an athlete get fired up with these kinds of leaders.
They cannot, plain and simple.
Detroit, once again, has a coach who has the players respect and I think we will see the Lions in the playoffs next year. They will not make it to the Championship game but they will do better than this year. We will have a Super Bowl Champion in the year 200? and I would wager a buck on that.
Ron

P.S. What stock were we talking about? Everyone, please excuse us. It all started with how one sings the National Anthem. If it comes from the heart who cares what the style. Let it be zydecko to rock to classical if it is from the heart. God Bless America!
