If you look at the chart since late Oct we've had volatiity from ~29 to ~37 and we've had high volume. In the 3 mo before that we were trading in a much narrower range ~34 to ~37. IMHO this is due to Asian uncertainty. It may be that MXIM is viewed as a much lower risk in the semi group than the Intels or Mots and this may be causing overbought and oversold conditions. I look the other way and sold MAY 30 puts. Maybe I'll get lucky and get put to on an even bigger dip. Long on MXIM and no expert just my 2 cents. Jim
