That was the project as I recalled it also.

I would hope that commercial code contain no 'nasties', and I'm sure that those writing code for sale take every effort to try and not corrupt the platform on which it is running. i.e. Everybody is trying to get along. You know, 'I have an interrupt here, may I have a time slice, please', 'Of you may, let me queue you up', Oh, thank you so much!' -- See how nice we play?

On the other hand there seem to be a preponderance of pretty bright programmer 'hackers' whose idea of 'fun' and 'success' is to try and disable the usefullness of the computer complex, and generate havoc for those already stressed out. I don't totally dislike hackers, per se. I think that the function that they provide is to 'attack' the system and firewalls, to see if the data is really as secure as it is supposed to be. I really don't want the receipes for biological warfare widely distributed. ( Not that it isn't already! ) I would like to see a more coordinated effort between the 'hackers' and commercial developers.

Just a thought!
