Patents built upon prior patents built upon prior patents. BFD.

Nokia didn't invent the cell phone, by the way. Nor were they the critical drivers of 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G technologies that have defined the evolution of modern smartphones today.

Instead, Nokia is just one of many players in the cell phone market. They used to be the 800 lb. gorilla at one point in time, but not anymore.

Most of the Internet that you use, the computers that you use, the devices that you use, and the servers that you log onto, were built thanks to innovation that was enabled via capitalism.

Had we lived in a "democratic socialism" instead of a free-market capitalism, we'd still be stuck with dial-up modems and flaming each other out on Usenet forums.

That's the truth.
