GDX and GDXJ may be finishing up bullish pennants on the daily charts, with the GDXJ one breaking up.

I wonder if the Utes are part of a paired trade, which might explain their relative weakness today.

SOX are strong, with the equipment makers pulling things up, AMAT, KLAC, KLIC, etc.

Semi's should be one of the strongest sectors, as demand in this arena will stay strong for numerous reasons. A concern is to equate their strength with proof the overall economy is doing fine.

I think aj is probably accurate in his assessment that the reality of what's happening to main street won't be understood by market participants for a few months. The belief that the FED, Treasury and Congress are all we need to worry about will eventually fade.

Until then....party on dudes!
