I think we have to treat the market like Watergate. "Follow the money."

The $4-Trillion stimulus (actually, less than that if you subtract out normal GDP) is finding its way into the market one way or the other.

I can't get too deep into it and I'm not sure this is the thread for this but I would tend to disagree about the 1-time nature of the 'work at home' scale up. Throughput to all devices is a constant source of 'new demand' and there are plenty of areas where both infrastructure and end user demand need to show substantial investment to achieve the longer term goals of speed and reliability.

On the chip ramp up in anticipation of supply disruption issues, I do agree that it may front load the view of long term demand and askew it. Another reason why SOX is soaring and there should be some skepticism about the medium term future.
