Knip,
I agree on the runnin' scared. The thing is in looking at this whole shift with MSFT and all.
It almost looks to me like we're gonna have to move back into a period of readjustment. Possibly due to the reliance of these companies on each other becomming greater?
I don't know. I'm just trying to sort some of this out.
There SHOULD be some kind of sense in here somewhere! 'Course it maybe similar to Charlie Manson's logic, but logic none the less.
I guess I just gotta figure the industry knows what it's doin' and observe. Heck, at this point that's all I can do!
Best to ya,
Jay

I believe the US West announcement is legitimate bad news and will not be buying more PAIR here. I have ADSL (an AMTX) installed on a trial basis and was surprised how much mucking with the house lines was necessary. Obviously, the phone companies hate that, and I've been looking for the ADSL company that will solve the problem, and offer a just-jack-in solution. Apparently US West believes Paradyne's offering in compelling in that regard, but DOH it's a private company.

<< Looks likes whole ADSL sector running scared, WSTL, AWRE down also. Typical market over-reaction, but that's the way it is. >>

Not so fast, You missed ORCTF and ALA which are slightly up.

What is your evaluation of the news though? Do you think it is a legit alternative to ADSL / CDSL / RADSL/Cable modem ? Any speculation on the fact that US West is the only RBOC announcing this approach?
