Taking a quick look at the local produce with an eye on value and longevity in the cellar...


I'd want to look at these three:


A sticky Vin de Constance from Klein Constantia

They're about 50 Km north of Cape Town. Prices vary pretty widely in the international trade, which is interesting.



A Syrah from Mullineaux

They're 10Km south of the airport on the M3.


The Columella Red, or really just about anything, from Eben Sadie. The Sadie Family Winery is in Malmesbury, about 65 Km north of Cape Town.
